Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and MLC K. Kavitha has alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is hatching a conspiracy against former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his family members with the active connivance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders.
Mr. Reddy’s comments at New Delhi after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday made it amply clear that he was working on the directions of the Prime Minister and he was being protected by the BJP leadership on all fronts, notwithstanding the public tongue-lashing indulged in by the two parties against each other.
Addressing a press conference, she stated that the Chief Minister talking about registering cases against KTR and KCR clearly indicates that he spoke the language with the blessings of the Prime Minister. Except for targeting KCR and his family members, Mr. Revanth Reddy had no focus on the development of the State.
She alleged that the Chief Minister was encouraging extra-constitutional forces with his own brother leading the pack. There was nothing wrong in having his brother as the party in-charge for his constituency but in what capacity he was being allowed to take part in the official meetings and how the District Collector would welcome him without him having any post, she asked.
The Chief Minister highlighted some issues with which either the BRS or the family of KCR had nothing to do with, as he had the clear intention of targeting the Opposition party.
