Man held for attack on Shiv Sena leader

The police arrested a man in connection with the attack on Shiv Sena district secretary at Ottappalam on Tuesday. Vivek, Shiv Sena district secretary from Meetna, was stabbed in front of a restaurant at East Ottappalam on Monday. The police arrested Faisal from Kayarampara near Ottappalam. Police said both of them had clashed during the Chinakkathoor Pooram a few days ago. The attack could be a fallout of that clash, said the police.
