On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited and inaugurated Anant Ambani’s Vantara, an animal rescue, conservation, and rehabilitation institution, as part of his three-day tour in Gujarat.

Vantara is home to approximately 2,000 types of animals, including 1.5 lakh rescued, endangered, and threatened. It is a cutting-edge animal rescue and rehabilitation facility that spans 3000 acres of the Reliance Jamnagar refinery site.

In a video, the Prime Minister was seen engaging and spending time with several species of animals that had been rehabilitated there.

He was also spotted playing with and feeding animals such as orangutans, Asiatic Lion cubs, White Lion cubs, and Clouded Leopard cubs, all of which are rare and endangered species.

Prime Minister Modi also explored various facilities at the centre in Vantara.

Additionally, he visited the wildlife hospital at Vantara, where he observed the veterinary facilities, which are equipped with MRI, CT, and intensive care units, among other things, as well as other departments, including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nephrology, Endoscopy, Dentistry, and Wildlife Anaesthesia.
