Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resource Development (HRD) Nara Lokesh has said he is glad that this year’s Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) results have recorded the highest pass percentage in the past decade, with a 70% pass rate for first year and 83% for the second year students. “The improvement has been particularly remarkable in Government and Government-managed institutions,” he posted on X.
Referring to the Government Junior Colleges (GJCs), he said the second year pass percentage has reached a 10-year high of 69% and for first year students, the pass percentage stands at 47%, the second highest in the last decade. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work of students, Junior Lecturers, and the focussed efforts of all stakeholders towards academic excellence,” he said.
“The Minister said students who could not succeed this time should not lose heart. They should use this as a stepping stone, keep working hard, and come back stronger,” he advised.
