Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), under the General Education department, will conduct an online model examination for the engineering stream from April 16 to 19 for students participating in its ‘Key to Entrance’ training programme for the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination.
Students can take the three-hour test at their convenience during this four-day window.
Students who had registered on the website entrance.kite.kerala.gov.in are eligible to participate in the mock test. The test will mirror the KEAM examination pattern, featuring 150 questions distributed across Physics (45), Chemistry (30), and Mathematics (75).
This pattern aims at assisting students in strategising their exam approach and evaluating their preparation levels. Registered users can access the mock test by logging in with their username and password, navigating to the ‘Exam’ section, and clicking on ‘Mock/Model Exam’.
Currently, 52,020 students are enrolled in the ‘Key to Entrance’ training programme. KITE chief executive officer K. Anvar Sadath has announced that new registrations from students in government and aided schools will be provided along with the opportunity to participate in the mock test. The model examination for the medical entrance will be conducted at a later date.
The online mock test is a follow-up to the extensive classes broadcast on the KITE Victers channel and its YouTube channel over the past five months. Nearly 300 video classes have been telecast and are accessible on the portal entrance.kite.kerala.gov.in Earlier, students had the option to take unit-specific tests as required. The upcoming engineering mock test encompasses all the units covered in the training. The official circular regarding the mock test is available on the portal.
