Raichur: A video showing the events surrounding the PDO examination boycott at Sindhanur on Nov 11, where candidates protested due to the delayed distribution of examination question papers, has gone viral on social media.
The situation at Sindhanur First Grade Degree College became tense when one examination hall received only 12 question papers instead of the necessary 24. Students refused to participate in the examination, particularly concerned that the question paper envelope was not unsealed in their presence.
The dissatisfied candidates, who advised those in possession of the question papers not to participate in the exam, subsequently staged a boycott and protested by obstructing the road. The KPSC also set up a committee to look into the incident that caused the exam disruption.
A video linked to the incident is being widely circulated on social media, wherein a candidate is seen questioning the examination officials about the late arrival of the pending question papers on the day of the occurrence. The video also features candidates asking for the current time, with officials displaying their watches and explaining who is responsible for the delay in the delivery of the question papers.
