The Hindu Future India Club in association with Triple I Commerce Academy is conducting a Commerce Aptitude programme for commerce students at 25 Colleges across Kozhikode, Malappuram, and Wayanad districts. The first session was held on Monday (January 20) at Zamorins Guruvayoorappan College (ZGC) in Kozhikode.
Chartered accountant at Triple I Commerce Academy, Aravind V.S., inaugurated the event which witnessed a participation of over 150 people. Anas Anwar Babu, academic trainer, and Gayathri Kolloth, language and soft skill trainer, were the resource persons for the session on ‘Future Of Commerce – The Big Picture’ that followed. The interactive knowledge session dealt with the latest trends in commerce, the new opportunities available in India, the Middle East & European countries, new skills and the latest courses to land their dream jobs. Roopa Rani, assistant professor, welcomed the gathering.
The Department of Commerce of ZGC received 65 copies of The Hindu for 25 days as part of the event, while the college library received The Hindu Special Publications worth ₹2500 as a gift from the academy.
The event was coordinated by ZGC principal Rajani B. and the head of the Commerce department, Maya Devi Thampatty.
