Watch: ‘Nari shakti’ on full display on Republic Day Parade 2025
Several contingents, tableaux and bands were led by women in the year’s Republic Day celebrations. Contingents Qrfv (heavy) Nandighosh was led by Major Radhika Sen and Qrfv (medium) Tripurantak was led by Major Srishti Sharma.
Battlefield surveillance system (plains) contingent was commanded by Lt Colonel Shrutika Dutta and the Navy’s tableau was led by Lt CDR Mamta and Lt Vipul Singh Gahlaut. Indian Coast Guard’s marching contingent was led by Deputy Commandant Navita Thakran and the coast guard’s tableau was led by Commandant Soniya Singh and Commandant Sadhana Singh. The CRPF marching contingent was led by Asst. Commandant Aishwarya Joy.
The Delhi Police women’s band was led by Band Master Ruyangunuo Kense and the NCC girls marching contingent was led by senior under officer Ekta Kumari. The NCC combined band was led by Cadet Madesh Ashok and Ankita Kumari.
