PDO exam: Case filed against protesters in Raichur

Raichur: A case was registered at Sindhanur City police station against 12 candidates who protested against the delay in providing question papers for the PDO exam on Sunday. On Sunday, many candidates attended the exam for the Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) post, but some did not receive their question papers for the first 45 minutes. The delay caused considerable frustration, forcing students to abandon the exam and launch a protest against the delay.
Candidates protested against the disorder by blocking the Kushtagi-Raichur Highway, expressing anguish at KPSC’s mistake and criticising the district administration’s inefficient arrangements.
On Monday, the complaint was filed based on a report by the exam centre supervisor Basavaraj Tadkal. However, there is widespread opposition to the filing of the case. Some candidates shared that authorities filed cases against them instead of amending their ways to ensure that such mistakes would not happen. It is reported that some candidates are also planning to file a case against the authorities for their failure to make proper arrangements.
