Mumbai Police has detained one person in connection with Saif Ali Khan attack as the cops hunted down the person on Friday morning. Saif Ali Khan was repeatedly stabbed by an intruder in his highrise apartment in upscale Bandra early Thursday and rushed to hospital with the blade still lodged in his spine, an audacious attack that raises intriguing questions about security and celebrity life in the financial and showbiz hub.
The arrest of the attacker comes after an accused was also caught on the CCTV camera of Saif’s building. After fleeing the crime scene, the attacker was snapped at Bandra railway station. Mumbai Police is now investigating the matter and further details are awaited.

Saif Ali Khan’s residence and argued with his maid, late last night. When the actor tried to intervene and pacify the man, he attacked Saif Ali Khan and injured him. Police are investigating the matter,” said Mumbai Police.
He was rushed to the Lilavati hospital and Dr. Nitin Dange, who performed his surgery, said in a statement, “Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with alleged history of assault by some unknown person. He sustained a major injury to the thoracic spinal cord due to a lodged knife in the spine. A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid.”
“Two other deep wounds on his left hand and one other on his neck were repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is completely stable now. He is recovering well and out of danger now,” the surgeon added.
Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress.
