Through #LollaForChange, the festival continued with its commitment to sustainability, inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that every fan experienced the festival in a meaningful, responsible and barrier-free way.Sign language interpreters were present at major stages, with personalised services for visually and hearing-impaired attendees. Gender-neutral washrooms, safe spaces with trained counsellors and LGBTQIA+ sensitisation efforts further established the festival as a welcoming and empowering environment.

Lollapalooza India has been always deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship through its approach to reduce carbon emissions associated with festival attendance by strategically implementing a suite of initiatives designed to promote sustainable transportation alternatives, encouraging attendees to embrace eco-conscious travel options. By prioritising green mobility solutions, the festival is actively worked to maximise its ecological footprint while setting new standards for environmental responsibility in the live entertainment industry.

Lollapalooza India has partnered with transport services like City Flo buses to nudge attendees to use public transport to reach the festival from key locations across Mumbai. These buses help reduce the number of vehicles on the road subsequently lowering traffic congestion and emissions. Additionally, Lollapalooza India is offered F&B incentives at the festival for attendees who choose to #TakeTheTrain to the festival. This initiative promoted the use of public rail transport, a more energy-efficient mode of travel compared to private vehicles, thus further helping to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the event.”

The festival ensured an all-inclusive experience by enabling Sign Language Interpreters to interpret music by the headlining artists at the main stage for hearing-impaired attendees.
Makhija further added, “Accessibility is a top priority, with dedicated PWD (Persons With Disabilities) risers at every stage, shuttle services for attendees with mobility challenges and a wheelchair-friendly layout ensuring seamless navigation. In collaboration with PWD organisations, the festival team received specialised training to assist guests effectively, making it an all-inclusive experience. Additionally, wheelchair-accessible toilets were stationed across the festival grounds to ensure convenience for all guests.”
