“Junaid ki pehli film
Maharaj mujhe badi pasand aayi, iska kaam bhi pasand aaya. Lekin agar main dil pe haath rakhke sach bolu toh mujhe laga uski pehli film aur meri pehli film mein hum log ka kaam ka level more or less same tha. (I really liked Junaid’s first film, Maharaj, and his work in it as well. But if I speak honestly, with my hand on my heart, I felt that his performance in the first film and mine in my first film were more or less at the same level),” Aamir said during the trailer launch.
“Mujhe bhi laga usne kai scenes bohot ache kiye. Like climax. But kahi pe mujhe laga, ki ye scene wo better kar sakta tha. Yaha pe thoda kachcha hai. Toh I could not say it was a flawless performance. As a father also I’m telling you. It was very similar. Mujhe laga maine jis level ka kaam kiya hai pehli film mein, more or less wohi kiya hai. So hopefully aage badhke wo bhi seekhega aur better ho jayega. (I also felt that he did many scenes very well, like the climax. But at certain points, I felt that he could have done those scenes better. Some parts seemed a bit raw. So, I couldn’t say it was a flawless performance. As a father, I’m telling you, it was quite similar. I felt that the level of work I did in my first film, he more or less did the same. So, hopefully, as time passes, he’ll learn and get better),” said PK star.
Maharaj, which was directed by Siddharth P Malhotra also featured Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari in prominent roles.
