Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s net worth is reportedly is Rs 800 crore.

That’s not all, she takes home Rs 6-7 crore per day for endorsing prestigious brands, both in India and internationally. She also has multiple investments that add to her net worth.

She emphasized that a lot of things changed for girls after getting married and added, “And later on, things change – because today, I feel more a Bachchan than a Bhaduri.”

Jaya Bachchan admitted she was a strict parent to Shweta and Abhishek Bachchan, when asked whether it is the same towards Aishwarya Rai, she replied, “Strict? She’s not my daughter! She’s my daughter-in-law. Why should I be strict with her? I’m sure her mother has done that for her.”

While the divorce rumours between Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been in the headlines for quite some time, an old video has surfaced online, where Jaya Bachchan is talking about her bond with the Ponniyin Selvan actress.

In the clip,
Jaya says that she considers Aishwarya Rai as her daughter-in-law and not her daughter. “There is a difference between a daughter and a daughter-in-law, you know. I mean, I don’t know why, but you don’t feel you don’t need to respect your parents. As a daughter, you take your parents for granted. With your in-laws, you can’t do that,” said Jaya in conversation with fashion designers, Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla
