Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan, who was recently seen in Loveyapa, spoke about being privileged to belong to a film family and shared his opinion when questioned whether he feels pressured to be Aamir Khan’s son.
“I haven’t actually felt so much pressure about it. It has not really come up so much around me- like with my family, and friends, and people I work with. I don’t think it has really come up so much. There are lots and lots of privileges. But yeah….maybe moving forward. I guess Papa also looks very young. Most people are not able to comprehend ki unka itna bada beta hai. We look also physically very different. I’m like twice his size. So yeah, I have not had it around me so much,” said Junaid while talking to Indian Express.

Loveyapa costar Khushi Kapoor also acknowledged that she has come from a strong film background. “Pressure is there if you put it on yourself. And of course, externally, people will want to compare you. You can’t blame them. We come from a certain family. We have parents who are in this field so it’s only normal for people to want to compare. But when it comes to pressure, maybe initially I had felt it. There was a lot of fear of rejection in me,” said Khushi.
Junaid and Khushi’s Loveyapa also featured Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda, Devishi Mandan, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Nikhil Mehta, Jason Tham, Yusus Khan, Yuktam Kholsa and Kunj Anand in prominent roles. It is directed by Advait Chandan, who previously helmed Laal Singh Chaddha and Secret Superstar. It is the official remake of Tamil hit Love Today.
