K-drama star Lee Si-young, known for starring in Netflix’s hit series Sweet Home, has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband of eight years. According to reports from the news outlet YTN, the actor and her partner, Mr Jo, a restaurateur, submitted documents for the divorce proceedings to the Seoul Family Court.
Based on the reports, the main terms of the divorce have been agreed upon. The couple got hitched back in September 2017 and they welcomed their son the following year in January 2018.
Lee Si-young’s agency ACE FACTORY confirmed, “They are in the process of getting a divorce through mutual agreement.” The agency also said, “As it is the actress’s private life, please understand that it is difficult to answer other questions besides this.”
Lee made her acting debut in 2008 in a guest appearance on season 3 of Urban Legends Deja Vu. The actor gained fame thanks to her role in series like Boys Over Flowers. and Loving You a Thousand Times.. She recently starred in the apocalyptic horror Netflix series, Sweet Home.
