A.P. government committed to welfare of minorities, says Minister

Minister for Transport Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy participating in the Ramzan celebrations at Rayachoti in Annamayya district on Monday.

Minister for Transport, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, said that the State government is committed to the welfare and development of minorities while participating in community prayers at the Bandlapalle Eidgah, as part of the Ramzan celebrations.

Addressing a gathering, the Minister said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the Muslim community for the last three decades, which included his three terms as the Chief Minister previously. He said that under the present NDA government, several welfare schemes and development activities will be carried out.

The Minister said that the State has been witnessing prosperity, peace, and happiness in the last 10 months, after the formation of the coalition government. Meanwhile, Mr. Ramprasad Reddy prayed alongside community leaders and sought blessings to ensure the continued stability and progress of the government.

Referring to the recent communal disturbances in Rayachoti town, the Minister sought the Hindus and Muslims to uphold their spirit of brotherhood and maintain Rayachoti’s ageless reputation for communal peace and harmony.
