District president of Madiga Dandora Madiga Meesalati Horata Samiti Shivaraj Dasanakeri has objected to delay in the conduct of an inquiry into registration and transfer of property to ineligible beneficiaries based on fake documents in Yadgir (B) village.

He was addressing a press conference in Yadgir on Sunday.

Mr. Dasanakeri said that he has filed a complaint with the Deputy Commissioner after some sites in Survey No 151 in Yadgir (B) village in Yadgir were illegally registered and transferred to ineligible beneficiaries by creating fake documents.

Following the complaint, the Deputy Commissioner, on December 21, 2024, formed a team of four officers of the municipality in Shorapur, Shahapur and Gurmitkal and directed them to conduct an impartial and transparent inquiry by visiting the spot, ascertaining the property documents and submitting a joint report within a week.

However, the team did not conduct the inquiry and submit the report despite the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, he added.

He said that a total of 96 sites were identified in Survey No 151 of Yadgir (B) village, and out of them, 45 sites were distributed. But some sites were registered and transferred illegally. Therefore, he objected to the move by the Yadgir CMC and sought legal action against those responsible.

However, no action has been taken so far. Hence, the team should conduct the inquiry immediately, he added.
