AITUC to hold workshop on migrant worker issues

The National Council of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) is set to organise a two-day workshop to address the challenges faced by international migrant workers and interstate migrant workers, aiming to devise necessary interventions.

The workshop will be inaugurated by AITUC general secretary Amarjit Kaur and is scheduled to begin on January 25 at the CSI Retreat Centre in Kottayam.

Prominent speakers, including Sukumar Damle, Waheeda Nizam, Leena Chatterjee, and R. Prasad, will lead discussions on key topics. Delegates from 17 States are expected to participate in the workshop.
