Ambulance goes up in flames, occupants have narrow escape

Four persons, including a patient, had a narrow escape when the ambulance in which they were travelling went up in flames. The mishap occurred on the national highway near Ramesh Hospital junction, on Sunday. Fire personnel rushed to the spot and put off the flames. The reason for the mishap is not known, said the officials.
