Maturi Ranganath, managing director of Amma Constructions-Gudivada, has been unanimously elected as chairman of the Builders Association of India (BAI), Amaravati Capital Chapter.
The announcement was made by A. Nagamalleswara Rao, BAI State president. The swearing-in ceremony for the new executive committee was held in Vijayawada. Other elected members included S. Satyanarayana as general secretary, K.P. Kiran as treasurer, Patnaik and Rajesh as vice-chairmen, and V. Venkata Narayana as joint secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ranganath emphasised the government’s positive approach towards addressing real estate sector issues and highlighted the need for faster approval processes under the single-window system. He also said the association will work with organisations such as NAREDCO and CREDAI to resolve persistent problems in the sector.
Twenty-Point Implementation Committee chairman Lanka Dinakar, A.P. Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation president P. Bhaskar Rao, School of Planning and Architecture director S. Ramesh, members of the BAI, CREDAI and NAREDCO were those among present.
