Andhra Pradesh Transport and Sports Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy on Saturday stated that the State aims to become an educational hub within the next five years.
A large number of parents and teachers participated in the Mega Parent Teachers’ meet at the ZP High School at Chennamukkapalle village in Rayachoti mandal of Annamayya district.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Ramprasad Reddy stated that the State government has arranged a meeting for teachers and parents across the State to ensure that students grow in all aspects. He noted that the initiative was organised to foster collaboration between students and their parents and teachers.
The government has made all necessary resources available for students from Class 1 to intermediate across all government schools, such as the provision of nutritious meals, clothing, books, and ensuring high-quality education.
“Students should utilise these resources provided by the government to progress. Parents should pay attention to their children’s behavior and academic performance, ensuring they stay on a positive path,” Mr. Ramprasad Reddy stressed.
At present, government schools have made greater progress than corporate schools, and students are eager to excel academically and bring honour to their families and communities, the Minister maintained.
