Staging a protest at the Collector’s office, Mr. Rambabu alleged that activists of Bajrang Dal attacked the professor brutally as they could not digest his reputation in the university and academic circles.
The party leaders Kommu Somulu, P. Chiranjeevi, P.V. Ramana, B. Yesu and others were present in the agitation. Later, the leaders submitted a memorandum to Collector B.R. Ambedkar, requesting him to bring the issue to the notice of the government.
