Superintendent of Police V. Ratna on Thursday (February 13) suspended R. Ramaiah, upgraded Circle Inspector (CI) of Madakasira, following allegations of misconduct.
According to the police, a woman had lodged a complaint with the SP against the CI, accusing him of inappropriate behaviour, while she approached him regarding a case. Based on the complaint, the department initiated an internal inquiry, during which Ramaiah was placed under the vacancy reserve (VR). Based on the findings of the investigation, the authorities issued a suspension order against him on Thursday.
