Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Saturday virtually inaugurated new classrooms and other infrastructure in various government schools in Tiruchi district.
As many as 135 classrooms and a lab , constructed at a cost of ₹29.20 crore in 28 government schools, were inaugurated in the district. Government schools at Poolangudi, Kanakiliyanallur, Punjaisengandhi, Thuvakudi, Theneripatti, Pulivalam, Uppiliyapuram, Thuraiyur, Kottathur, Amoor, Sithambur, Thandalaiputhur, Manapparai, Kalakkampatti, Kannudaiyanpatti, Pannankombu, V. Poosaripatti, T. Sukkampatti, C. Ayyampalayam, Edumalai, Manachanallur, Ayilapettai, Ettarai, Musiri, Paithamparai, Amanakkampatti, Sirugambur and Viscountess Goschen Government Girls (Muslim) Higher Secondary School got new classrooms. The lab has been established at a cost of ₹92.42 lakh at Poolangudi High School.
Collector M. Pradeep Kumar was present at the event held at the Viscountess Goschen Government Girls (Muslim) Higher Secondary School on East Boulevard Road in the city.
