Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy along with bankers will launch self-employment schemes worth about ₹6,000 crore at Wanaparthy on March 2.
Speaking at the review meeting with the Bankers here on Friday, he said the government will organise the distribution of financial aid/assets under self-employment schemes and implementation of welfare schemes as a festival on the day, he said. The self employment schemes will enhance the State’s GDP, he said.
He said that those who ruled for the last 10 years had neglected all the welfare corporations. The State government is ready to give subsidies and margin money, the Deputy CM said and called upon the bankers to come forward to provide livelihood to unemployed youth.
The role of bankers is important in Rising Telangana and the State government has prepared plans to attract global attention, he said. “Conducive environment has been created through skilled human resources through Skill University and advancement of ITIs, supply of continuous quality power supply and good law and order for attracting global attention.”
Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka said that investments worth ₹1.8 lakh crore were attracted to Telangana at Davos thanks to the efforts of the State government. The State government not only said that it would give top priority to the agriculture sector but implemented it by allocating ₹52,000 crore to this sector. In a span of three months, the government credited ₹22,000 crore into the bank accounts of farmers towards loan waiver of up to ₹2 lakh. This was a record in the country itself.
