CMO closely monitoring PGRS, Annamayya Collector tells officials

Collector Sridhar Chamakuri receiving petitions from the public during the PGRS event at Collectorate in Rayachoti on Monday.

Anammayya district Collector Sridhar Chamakuri directed officials to give top priority to addressing public grievances and their prompt redressal. The Collector chaired the Public Grievances Redressal System (PGRS) programme, here on Monday. He asked the officials to adopt a proactive approach towards people coming to the PGRS, seeking solutions to their issues.

Addressing the officials, the Collector said that the Chief Minister’s office (CMO) was closely monitoring the grievance redressal mechanisms. “Each and every petition received should he treated with importance and utmost seriousness. The public reach the PGRS centres from far away places and hope for redressals. The officials should maintain patience and work in the direction of solving them promptly,” he said.

Mr. Sridhar also instructed the officials to initiate prompt action on all pending requests from the public, particularly those beyond the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.

Meanwhile, the district administration arranged snacks, drinking water, and tea for the petitioners at the Collectorate. Joint Collector Adarsh Rajendran, District Revenue Officer (DRO) D. Madhusudan Rao, and Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs) from Madanapalle, Rayachoti, and Rajampeta attended the event.
