The Kottayam District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) has adopted Malavedan Nagar, a settlement of Scheduled Tribe families in Ward 12 of the Panachikkad grama panchayat, as part of its community welfare initiatives. At a function held on Thursday, Principal District and Sessions Judge M. Manoj formally inaugurated the project and handed over the keys of the three newly renovated houses under the scheme. Mohit C.S., District Judge and Member Secretary of the Kerala Legal Services Authority, delivered the keynote address while Annie Mammen, president of Panachikkad panchayat, gave the special message.
