Four shops gutted in Kalaburagi

As many as four shops were gutted in a fire accident in Ram Mandir locality in Kalaburagi at noon on Sunday. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Sources said that the fire was first noticed in an electric shop.

Within minutes, it spread and engulfed a hardware shop, an expeller oil extraction unit and a tea stall attached to it.

The furniture and other material stored at these shops were destroyed completely in the incident.

Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot and controlled the fire swiftly with no reported casualties.

The estimated loss in the incident is yet to be ascertained.
