In a joint operation, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South West Zone team, and Chikkadpally police apprehended two drug peddlers and one consumer in possession of hash oil weighing 380 grams.

The seizure also included three mobile phones and a scooter, bringing the total value of confiscated property to ₹3.70 lakh.

The arrested individuals have been identified as D. Elisha Vali, 26, a tea stall owner who also worked as a food delivery agent, Gajwelli Nikkel Sai, 19, a private employee from Asif Nagar, and Gonda Arvind Rao, 24, also a private employee working with a domestic courier service.

Ande Srinivasa Rao, Additional DCP of Commissioner’s Task Force, said that Elisha Vali and Arvind Rao were school friends, while Nikkel Sai was a common acquaintance. “Vali and Sai were habitual users of hash oil and later began selling it to fund their lifestyle. In March, they travelled to Sileru in Alluri Sitharama Raju district, Andhra Pradesh, where they purchased 500 grams of the narcotics from a supplier named Yesu. A portion of the narcotic was consumed, while the rest was distributed among customers in Hyderabad,” said the officer.

The arrest was made in Chikkadpally while Vali and Sai were attempting to deliver 70 containers of hash oil to Arvind Rao.
