Lawyers of Telangana High Court registered their protests over the murder of Rangareddy district court advocate E. Esrayel by boycotting the courts on Tuesday. Majority of the advocates practicing at the HC abstained from work at different benches of the judges.

With the advocates agitating over the murder, work was affected at all the courts. By noon, hearing of the matters got stalled at the courts. The Acting Chief Justice of the HC, Sujoy Paul, assured the agitating members of the bar that no adverse orders would be passed in the matters in which the advocates were absent on Tuesday.

But they were detained by the police and shifted to other locations. The Telangana High Court Bar Association secretary G.
