Industries Commissioner N.Yuvaraj and SPSR Nellore Collector O. Anand at the Indosol Solar plant during their visit to Ramayapatnam port in Nellore district on Friday.
Industries and Commerce Commissioner N. Yuvaraj inspected the land availability in and around Ramayapatnam port as a prelude to establishment of port-based industries. This is the maiden visit by the official to Ramayapatnam on a land hunt for promotion of allied industries.
Accompanied by SPSR Nellore district Collector O. Anand, Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board Chief Executive Officer Praveen Aditya, Kandukur Sub-Collector T. Sri Pooja and Kavali Revenue Divisional Officer Vamsi Krishna among others.
Mr. Yuvaraj inspected the agricultural lands in Alagayapalem and inquired about the ayacut area under the Karedu tank. He later visited Tenkayachetlapalem and inquired Mr. Anand about government and patta lands available in the village, with the help of land survey records and maps.
In Kavali Rural mandal, the team visited Anemadugu and Sarvayapalem villages and probed the extent of lands already allocated to industries. Reaching Ramayapatnam, Mr. Yuvaraj visited Indosol Solar plant established in the vicinity of the port and learnt about its progress with the plant officials.
