JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, and the Centre for Science and Technology of the Non-Aligned and Other Developing Countries (NAM S and T Centre), New Delhi, have come together towards strengthening global collaboration with an MoU renewal.
They have renewed their MoU recently at the JSS AHER here, continuing their shared mission to foster international collaboration in science and technology.
JSS AHER Pro-Chancellor B. Suresh highlighted the significant milestones achieved since the MoU was first signed in 2021 and the global impact amongst the scientific community. He spoke about the publication of a book ‘Water Management in Developing Countries and Sustainable Development’ and the creation of two critical fact files on rare diseases and birth defects, exemplifying the collaboration’s societal impact.
A press release here said the collaboration has successfully established the NAM S and T – JSS AHER Fellowship, enabling researchers from seven countries to engage in cutting-edge scientific studies at JSS AHER, Mysuru. The collaboration has also resulted in five scientific publications, two research projects and the organisation of two international workshops.
The collaboration aims for steadfast commitment to excellence in scientific innovation and education. JSS AHER and NAM S and T Centre aim to broaden their horizons and deliver transformative contributions to the global scientific community, the release said.
