Man found dead, month-and-a-half after mother’s death

A 26-year-old man was found dead on Monday in Konaghatta village, Doddaballapur, just a month-and-a-half after his mother’s death, both allegedly owing to debt-related distress.

The deceased has been identified as Rakshith Babu. He was found dead near Nandi Mori on Monday morning. He worked as a food delivery executive, serving multiple companies, said the police.

The Doddaballapur Rural police said that the family was caught in a severe debt crisis. About one-and-a-half months ago, Babu’s mother allegedly ended her life at their house, reportedly owing to harassment from local moneylenders.

The Doddaballapur Rural police have initiated an investigation.
