MIDHANI gifts ₹16.55-lakh machine to IPM for TB detection

MIDHANI, the public sector enterprise of the Ministry of Defence, has sponsored a ₹16.55-lakh TRUENAT machine to aid in the early detection of tuberculosis (TB). The machine will help accelerate diagnosis and enable timely intervention. Additionally, nutritional kits have been donated to 1,500 TB patients in Hyderabad, providing them with essential support for six months at an expenditure of ₹66.91 lakh as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Chairman and managing director in-charge N. Gowri Sankara Rao handed over the machine to the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Narayanguda, in the presence of general manager A. Ramakrishna Rao and other senior officials including K. Mabhubala, Harikrishna V., A.R. Rashmi, Joint Director (TB) A.Rajesham, and State TB Control Officer Chaladevi.
