Sakthikulangara police on Sunday arrested a migrant labourer from Assam with three kilograms of ganja. Ashraf (34), son of Noorul Islam from Morigaon district, Assam, was taken into custody during a routine vehicle inspection. The police had intercepted the auto-rickshaw he was travelling during a vehicle inspection at Altharamood junction around 1:30 a.m. The arrest was made by a team led by Sakthikulangara SHO Ratheesh, including station SIs Vinod and Pradeep.
