Railway Board has given approval to run special trains for two trips between Mysuru and Bhagat Ki Kothi and SMVT Bengaluru-Gorakhpur stations to manage the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival.
Train Nos 06533/06534 Mysuru-Bhagat Ki Kothi-Mysuru Holi Festival Express Special (2 trips): Train No 06533 will leave Mysuru at 9.20 p.m. on March 10 and 17 (Monday) and reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
In the return direction, Train No 06534 will leave Bhagat Ki Kothi at 11 p.m. on March 14 and 21 (Friday) and arrive at Mysuru at 4.40 p.m. on Sunday.
In both directions, the train will halt at the following stations: KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Davangere, Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Ghatprabha, Miraj, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Udhna, Vadodara, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Vaibhavwadi Road, Falna, Rani, Marwar, Pali Marwar and Luni Jn.
The train will consist of 23 coaches, including three AC 2-Tier coaches, six AC 3-Tier coaches, 10 Sleeper Coaches, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage-cum-Guard coach for Disabled.
Train Nos 06529/06530 SMVT Bengaluru-Gorakhpur Holi Festival Express Special (2 trips): Train No 06529 will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 7 p.m. on March 10 and 17 (Monday) and reach Gorakhpur at 6.40 a.m. on Thursday.
In the return direction, Train No 06530 will leave Gorakhpur at 5 p.m. on March 14 and 21 (Friday) and arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 8.15 a.m. on Monday.
In both directions, the train will halt at the following stations: Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Davangere, Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Ghatprabha, Miraj, Satara, Pune, Daund Chord Line, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Rani Kamalapati, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Pokhrayan, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Gyanpur Road, Banaras, Varanasi, Aunrihar, Mau, Belthara Road, Bhatni and Deoria Sadar.
The train will consist of 23 coaches, including one I-AC Coach, two AC 2-Tier coaches, five AC 3-Tier coaches, eight Sleeper Coaches, four General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage-cum-Guard coach for Disabled.
