Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin and his party leaders pay tributes to former Chief Minister Annadurai at his memorial in Chennai on Monday.

DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, AIADMK general secretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami were among the leaders who led their party members in paying tributes to former Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai at his memorial in Chennai on his death anniversary on Monday.
Mr. Stalin led a rally of his partymen to the memorial and paid floral tributes. In a social media post, Mr. Stalin vowed to continue to work in the path laid down by Annadurai. “Those who want only to create trouble would fizzle out. Let’s strive to continue in our ambitious path to get the affection and support of the people”.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister P.K. Sekarbabu, Chennai Mayor R. Priya were among those who participated in the common feast organised by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department in Arulmigu Parthasarathy temple in Chennai to mark the death anniversary of Annadurai. Dhotis and sarees were distributed on the occasion.
Mr. Palaniswami led his partymen in paying floral tributes to the late leader. AIADMK leaders led by M. Thambi Durai paid tributes to the statue of Annadurai in the Parliament complex in New Delhi.
AMMK founder T.T.V. Dhinakaran paid tributes to the Dravidian stalwart at Nelpettai in Madurai district.
