Teachers Constituency MLC-elect Malka Komaraiah will amplify voices of teachers: Bandi Sanjay

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has said that Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Teachers’ Constituency MLC-elect Malka Komaraiah will amplify voices of teachers and take up cudgels on their behalf.

Mr. Komaraiah will strive with renewed zeal to exert pressure on the State government to address the pending issues of teachers, retired employees, students and unemployed youths, he said, while addressing a victory rally held in Karimnagar on Tuesday. He said the State government should immediately resolve the long pending issues of teachers including payment of the pending dearness allowance (DA) dues, fill up vacant posts of teachers, MEOs and DEOs among others.

The pending fee reimbursement dues worth about ₹7,000 crore should be released forthwith, he said, renewing his demand for prompt payment of retirement benefits to the retired teachers and other employees. He said the Congress government will face the ire of unemployed youths if it attempts to increase the retirement age of employees to delay the payment of retirement benefits to the latter.
