Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is gearing up for Ratha Sapthami festival celebrated on February 4. In a review meeting held at the Annamayya Bhavan on Tuesday, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary reviewed the ongoing arrangements, focusing on security and crowd management.
Emphasising the need for coordinated efforts of various departments, including vigilance, security, and police, he stressed the importance of risk assessment, preparedness, and systematic organisation to prevent overcrowding and ensure seamless traffic, parking arrangements, and emergency response teams.
He also directed officials to create a comprehensive bandobast plan, monitor ghat road vehicular movement and ensure seamless communication.
Other aspects reviewed included Annaprasadam, sanitation, deployment of Srivari Sevaks, medical teams, LED screens, and issuance of darshan tokens at Srivari Mettu.
While Collector Venkateswar and SP Harshavardhan Raju participated in the meeting in virtual mode, TTD Chief Engineer Satyanarayana, Tirumala Additional SP Ramakrishna, and other senior officials were present.
