The State Task Force (STF) Excise teams seized a total of 2.366 kilograms of marijuana in two separate cases, leading to the arrest of three persons involved in the illegal drug trade.
Acting on a tip-off regarding the sale of marijuana from a residence in Dhoolpet, the STF A team conducted a raid and confiscated 1.206 kg of the contraband. “Two suspects, identified as Chandramukhi and Akash Singh, were apprehended at the scene. The duo, along with the contraband, were handed over to the Dhoolpet excise station for further legal proceedings,” said an officer.
In a separate operation, the STF D team apprehended Mohd. Afzal Amit, who was allegedly selling marijuana in the vicinity of Asif Nagar. “1.160 kilogram of the contraband was recovered during the arrest,” added the officer.
