Congress Working Committee (CWC) member and former AP Congress Committee president Gidugu Rudraraju on Friday termed the Andhra Pradesh State Budget for 2025-26, presented by the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance government, a ‘number game’.
In an official release, Mr. Rudraraju said, “The Super Six schemes, assured by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the run-up to the 2024 general elections, have not been fulfilled.”
“The Thalliki Vandanam scheme alone requires ₹12,000 crore to offer the ₹15,000 annual aid for 81 lakh eligible school students in Andhra Pradesh. However, ₹9,400 crore has been allocated in the Budget for this scheme. It shows the number game of the Budget,” he said.
