A ten-year-old boy died after a coconut tree fell on him at Mootam, Pazhayangadi, in Kannur on Saturday morning (November 30).
The deceased, Nisal, was the son of Mansoor and Sameera of Mootam. According to the police, the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m., when a coconut tree, being uprooted with a JCB on their property, unexpectedly fell on Nisal.
Despite being rushed to a private hospital in Kannur, Nisal could not be saved. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and launched an investigation.
