A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday at 9:06 pm at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The NCS shared details of the seismic event on X, stating that: “Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.0, Date: 27/12/2024, Time: 21:06:59 IST, Latitude: 34.26 N, Longitude: 74.44 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.”
