The Nurani Grama Samudayam (NGS), the Brahmin Educational Society (BES) and the Kerala Brahmana Sabha (KBS) jointly felicitated senior Supreme Court lawyer C.S. Vaidyanathan and his son and Delhi High Court judge Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar here on Saturday.
Senior lawyer J. Sai Deepak spoke on ‘Tradition, culture and Constitution’ as part of the eighth edition of the NNR memorial lecture series. Students and teachers of different BES schools attended the programme.
Justice Vaidyanathan, who won Padma Shri this year for his outstanding contributions to the field of law, inaugurated the year-long centenary celebrations of Lakshmi Nilayam UP School, Nenmara.
Justice Harish Shankar inaugurated the silver jubilee celebrations of BES Bharathi Thirtha Vidyalayam English Medium Higher Secondary School, Kallekkad.
