High command has sought report on Ministers speaking in public: Bhandary

Spread the News

Naming Ministers Satish Jaharkiholi, R.B. Thimmapur, and H.C. Mahadevappa for repeatedly speaking on the issue of leadership in public, KPCC working president Manjunath Bhandary on Thursday said the high command had sought a report on Cabinet Ministers who are speaking on leadership change. He said it was not right to speak in public on the issue.

In a statement here, he said, “Leaders should first bring any information to the notice of the high command and not before the media. It is the high command that takes the decision on leadership change and not the media.”

He said the high command had sought a report on Ministers who were causing unnecessary confusion despite the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister saying that they would abide by the decision of the high command. “Mr. Jharkiholi, Mr. Thimmapur, and Dr. Mahadevappa are repeatedly talking on the issue. The high command is seriously watching.”

Details that have been sought in the report on Ministers include efforts being made to strengthen the party, cooperation extended to implement promises in the manifesto, and efficiency with which programmes have been implemented in their Ministries, Mr. Bhandary said.
