Earlier this month, a terrorist involved in civilians killing at Gagangir, Ganderbal and many other terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir was killed in an encounter in Srinagar district.
On November 23, Baramulla Police, in a joint operation with security forces, busted a terror hideout in the Kunzer area of the district.
The police informed that the joint operation was carried out following credible leads generated during the investigation. During the search operation, the cops recovered arms and ammunition, and it also destroyed the hideout, thwarted any possible untoward incident, and scuttled the nefarious plans of terrorist outfits to derail peace and harmony in the Kashmir Valley.
In November, three terrorists were gunned down by security forces during encounters in the Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag and Khanyar.
