Civil defence mock drill in Raichur today

Deputy Commissioner of Raichur Nitish K. has said that a civil defence mock drill will be conducted in Raichur on Wednesday to prepare citizens for any eventuality, while, at the same time, creating self-defence awareness.

Speaking to reporters in Raichur on Tuesday, he said that the Union government has issued directions to the State’s Principal Secretary and Director-General and Inspector-General of Police through a video conference on conducting a mock drill in Shaktinagar on the outskirts of Raichur.

The mock drill will be conducted as per protocol which will be issued by the Union government to the State government. The State government will then issue directions to the district administration.
