A two-day national post graduation research conference will be held on September 23 and 24 on the campus of the University of Agriculture Science (UAS) in Raichur.
In a release on Saturday, Gururaj Sunkad, dean of post graduation and organising secretary of the conference, said that the directorate of post graduation organised the conference aiming to develop confidence along with research knowledge, communication, and presentation skills in students.
The conference will also help to exchange the experiences among education experts, teachers, scientists and students, he said.
The two-day conference will feature the presentation of abstracts of dissertations on 35 research topics by State and national-level students. As many as 147 abstracts will be presented as wall posters. Around 500 professionals, including teachers, subject experts and students, are expected to participate.
A special lecture will be held in memory of the late scientist S.A. Patil.
Vice-Chancellor of UAS M. Hanumanthappa will preside over the conference.
Educational Director (retired) of UAS M.G. Patil, Sharanagouda Bayyapur, Basavanagouda Byagwat, A. Amaregouda, Sharanabasappa Koteppagol, S.A. Patil and others will be presented.
