Two men were killed on the spot and several injured in a road accident near Sira in Tumakuru district in the early hours of Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Suresh of Goladinni village and 40-year-old Basavaraj of Hire Badaradinni village in Sirwar taluk.
According to sources, the vehicle in which the victims and the injured were travelling collided with a lorry.
They were going to Bengaluru from Raichur for work. However, further details are yet to be made available.
A case has been registered in the Sira Town Police Station.
