Raichur: A road accident occurred near Yaramaras Bypass on the outskirts of Raichur on Monday, killing two people on the spot. The rural station police said that a speeding truck, negotiating a turn on the bypass, ran over Nagappa Uppara, 65, and his son Ramesh Uppara, 38, a mason from Yaramaras village on the outskirts of Raichur city. The truck driver escaped, and police visited the scene to investigate. Raichur Rural police have registered a case.
